If a group admin intends to leave their position, they can either close their group entirely or nominate a specific member to pass the group leadership to. The former admin becomes a member of the group, and can leave if they wish. If they want to reinstate their former position, they will have to discuss it with the current admin of the group.
– Member nomination. We will strongly encourage the group admin to nominate one of the moderators or another group member to replace them. Once the nomination is accepted, they will be in charge of the group and the responsibilities that come with it. If nominations are declined, the group admin remains the same until a nomination is accepted.
– Group closure. Everything about the group is permanently removed, including media, posts, and member lists. We will notify group members that the group admin is closing the group in 7 days, to allow members time to contact the admin to save the group, manually save any media and posts or connect privately with other group members.
