People who aren’t logged into MuslimConnect can still see your profile info i.e. your name, ‘Member since’ date, and other fields you have chosen to add (profile picture, bio, location and networks). This will be the same view people see when clicking the link to your MuslimConnect profile from a search engine result, like Google or Bing. If you don’t want your profile information to be publicly visible, edit the information on your Settings page.
However, this information may still be saved in a search engine’s cache or memory. The link may appear until the search engine update their memory to the latest version of these pages the next time they crawl the MuslimConnect site. We do not have control over the content that is already indexed and cached or when exactly search engines update their results. To request the immediate removal of a search listing, you will have to contact the specific search engine’s support team.
