Please understand that reporting intellectual property infringement is a serious matter with potential legal consequences. You should consider seeking legal advice if you’re unsure whether the content you want to report actually infringes your intellectual property rights or falls under permissible fair use. Intentionally submitting misleading or otherwise fraudulent reports of copyright or trademark infringement may lead to liability for damages (including costs and lawyers’ fees) under section 512(f) of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or similar laws in other countries.
If the issue relates to another party’s intellectual property rights, you should contact the rights owner directly so that they may evaluate the use of their content and determine whether to report the situation to us.
If you believe that any content on MuslimConnect violates your copyright or trademark, you can report the infringement by emailing directly to support@muslimconnect.io. In order for us to take action to remove or block access to the allegedly infringing content, please submit your takedown notice request in English and include the following information:
1. Your contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
2. A description of the copyrighted works or trademarks that are allegedly being infringed (including registration number and registration office if applicable).
3. Sufficient information to identify and locate the allegedly infringing content on the MuslimConnect website (i.e. web address or URL).
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content isn’t authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in the takedown notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you’re the owner of the allegedly infringing content, or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.
Please note that we provide your name, contact information and the contents of your report to the user who posted the allegedly infringing content.
Our team will review the report and be in touch if additional information is needed, then move to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the alleged infringing party that the content has been removed.
