MuslimConnect will automatically detect your location to tailor upcoming and popular events on the homepage to your local area, so that it is relevant to you. If you’re looking for events that pique your interest, then searching by Events will show you specific upcoming Events.
1. Head to the Explore page
2. Enter a search term or browse by category by clicking in the search bar
3. Choose a location and the radius you want the search to cover
4. Click Search
5. Once the results appear, toggle to Events in the search bar
6. If you’d like to filter your search by date, click on the ‘Sort by‘ drop-down menu and select another date
Note: Some organisers may choose to have their events limited to males only or females only to be comfortable and modest. This will be stated either in the event title or description. Not all events are for everybody, so please respect their wishes.
Suggested events
We suggest events we think you might like to attend based on the interests that both you and the event may share. Only you can see the events we suggest to you.
To discover new events of interest:
1. Go to the Explore page
2. Select a location and radius, then click Search
3. Underneath the search bar, click on the Upcoming Events drop-down menu
4. Select Suggested Events
