If you know someone who would be interested in joining a group, please share and help build the community! It doesn’t matter if they’re Muslim or not, as long as they are open-minded and respectful of others, they are more than welcome.
Social media, word of mouth, printed advertising are all excellent ways to spread the word. From the MuslimConnect platform, you can either copy the group URL and manually share it to your favourite social media or:
1. Go to the Group page
2. Scroll to the bottom of the right column
3. Select a platform (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Email) to share on
4. In the new window, add or customize the post before publishing
When you share a private group, only the group description and interests will be visible to respect the privacy settings of the group. If the group interests you, go ahead and request membership!
Note: Some group admins may choose to have their groups limited to males only or females only to be comfortable and modest. This will be stated under the group name i.e. Private Sisters Group. Not all groups are for everybody, so please respect their wishes.
