Events that are not exclusive to MuslimConnect, such as classes, concerts or conferences hosted by organisations usually have fees or tickets that are already set in price. Whereas events hosted exclusively by MuslimConnect groups will have fees that are dependent upon the expenses in running that event and organising the group.
Please be honest and upfront in your financial and business dealings. It is important to let members know what they are paying for and if there is a refund policy. Charge too high and that might discourage members from attending. Charge too low and the admin might be paying out of their own pocket for costs related to that event.
To set an event price:
1. Go to your group’s homepage, select Create Event from the left menu
2. Scroll to the bottom of the form
3. Set your price (you can add your currency to clarify if needed i.e. USD $5.00). If the event is free, leave the field blank
4. Confirm by clicking Submit
